South Carolina - August 4th through October 22nd 2026

Dive into a 12-week learning adventure focused on the fascinating worlds of sea turtles, salt marshes, and lagoons, set against the stunning backdrops of Hunting Island State Park and Fripp Island. Join us every Tuesday and Thursday to explore these vital ecosystems. Tuesday mornings are reserved for hands-on learning from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., while Thursday sessions adapt to the rhythms of turtle activity—meeting either early in the morning or under the stars in the evening, with times announced ahead of each class. Plus, get ready for a monthly field trip or excursion!

2 week travel break: October 23 - November 8

North Carolina - November 10th 2026 through February 11th 2027

Up next, another exciting 12-week semester at Carolina Beach State Park and its beautiful surrounding waterways, including the mighty Cape Fear River! Join us every Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. as we explore the fascinating properties of water, the twists and turns of the Intracoastal Waterway, the vital importance of watersheds, and the rhythms of currents and tides. Each session promises hands-on learning and a splash of outdoor adventure, perfect for anyone ready to fall in love with the science beneath the waves.. We will embark on a field trip or excursion every month.

Holiday breaks: November 23-27 and December 21-25
2 week travel break: February 12 - 28

Maryland - March 2nd through May 20th 2027

We’re wrapping up our year with an exciting final 12-week semester exploring the unique landscapes of Calvert Cliffs and Flag Pond Beach! Join us every Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. as we dive into the fascinating world of fossil hunting—especially shark teeth—while uncovering the mysteries of intertidal zones, spotting coastal birds, and learning all about the Chesapeake Bay’s rich ecosystem. To make the most of fossil finds, some class times may shift slightly, ensuring we catch the best tides for discovery. Get ready for a hands-on adventure that combines science, nature, and plenty of sandy fun! Again, expect monthly field trips and excursions.

    12 week semester payments: $1,005
    Semesterly payments must be paid before the first class of the semester.

    Monthly payments must be paid before the first class of the month.

    The $335 payment must be paid in order to hold your spot in the limited, 12 student, class. The deposit will go towards your first payment.

    If you need to cancel for any reason, please do so at least 30 days in advance. A full refund will be provided if a written notice was received 30 days prior to the start date. If a written notice is received 24 hours - 29 days in advance a half refund of $167 will be provided. You forfeit your deposit if you no-show or cancel in 23 hours or less to the start date.

  • Tuition will not pay for RV park, but we will attempt to get large group discounts whenever possible. You are not required to stay in the same park, just be aware that some classes may be held at the RV park of our choosing. We hope that these classes become a tight community and find joy in each other’s company, providing life-long friendships for our children while on the road.

    Transportation is not provided, but we do encourage car-pooling!!

    Please bring your own food and water.

    Personal equipment (snorkel gear, wet suit, waders, rain gear, booties or wet shoes) will not be provided. Please don’t purchase these items unless instructed to do so.
